Join the Steers Center for Global Real Estate to hear Ric Clark's perspective on investing in today's volatile real estate market. Clark is a senior managing partner and the chairman of Brookfield Property Group and Brookfield Property Partners. He has been with Brookfield and its predecessors since 1984 in various senior roles. Under Clark’s leadership, the property group acquired Canary Wharf in London; expanded its investments to the multifamily, industrial, and hotel sectors; and extended its geographic footprint beyond North America and Brazil to Australia, India, and China. More recently, Clark expanded Brookfield’s opportunistic investment business with launch of a $4.4 billion global opportunity fund to acquire distressed real estate assets and portfolio turnaround or recapitalization opportunities.
