Georgetown Teams Advance to Semi-finals in Real Estate Case Competition


Two teams of Georgetown MBA students are among the 12 semi-finalists selected to compete in The CASE real estate case competition, hosted by MIT. The DH Enterprises Team of Peter Darrell (M13), Erick Kolb (M13), Josh Rothenberg (EP13), and Brian Soss (M13), as well as the KCRE Capital Team of Rob Balazs (M12), Kevin Byrd (M13), Erich Heger (EP 13), and Nihar Shah (EP14) will travel to Boston April 19-20 to compete.

Faculty Recognized for 20 Years of Service


Three faculty members at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business were recognized at the Spring Faculty Convocation for 20 years of service to Georgetown. Associate Professor James Angel, Professor Bardia Kamrad, and Associate Professor Catherine Langlois each received Vicennial gold medals for their many contributions to the university and school during the past two decades.

The Universidad Ricardo Palma in Lima, Peru, recently announced that its new School of Global Marketing and Business Management has been named for Michael Czinkota, an associate professor of international business at Georgetown McDonough.
