U.S. News Ranks Georgetown MBA Program in Top 25 for 6th Consecutive Year

The Full-time MBA Program at Georgetown's McDonough School of Business was ranked 24th in the 2013 edition of U.S. News & World Report's "Best Graduate Schools" guide. Additionally, the MBA Evening Program was selected as 14th, up from 21st last year.

Undergraduate Students Win Prestigious Copenhagen Business School Case Competition

A team of undergraduate students from Georgetown McDonough won the prestigious and invitation-only 2012 Copenhagen Business School (CBS) Case Competition. The international competition was held at CBS in Copenhagen, Denmark, from February 27 through March 2, 2012.

MBA Students Finish First in Venture Capital Investment Competition

On Friday, February 24, 2012, a team of Georgetown McDonough MBAs won the 15th annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Venture Capital Investment Competition held at the Wharton School of Business. According the venture capitalist judging panel, the Georgetown McDonough team did the best job analyzing business plans, conducting due diligence with entrepreneurs, structuring a term sheet, and negotiating a deal.

Global Social Enterprise Initiative and Booz Allen Hamilton Partner to Tackle Societal Challenges

Booz Allen Hamilton and the Global Social Enterprise Initiative at Georgetown's McDonough School of Business have announced a partnership to identify and develop solutions to complex, large-scale issues utilizing Booz Allen's MEGACOMMUNITIES approach.

Entrepreneurs in Residence Give Boost to Startups at Georgetown University

Initial results from the Entrepreneurs in Residence program at Georgetown's McDonough School of Business demonstrate success in fostering student entrepreneurs in the business school as well as the University's other schools, including the School of Medicine and Walsh School of Foreign Service.

Open Information Session for all Executive Certificate Programs

The McDonough School of Business will hold an open information session March 20, 2012, for its new executive certificate courses. These intensive, three-day programs equip business and government executives with the tools and expertise they need to broaden their knowledge, sharpen their skills, and advance their institutions and careers.
