Professor Reena Aggarwal Receives Wall Street Alliance Award

At a gala event at The Waldorf-Astoria in New York City on February 23, Reena Aggarwal, Robert E. McDonough Professor of Business Administration and professor of finance, and director of the Georgetown Center for Financial Markets and Policy at the McDonough School of Business, and Theodore "Ted" J. Leonsis (C'77), founder, chairman, majority owner, and CEO of Monumental Sports & Entertainment were honored at the 12th Annual Wall Street Alliance Scholarship Dinner.

New York Alumni Discuss Capital Formation and Job Creation

New York-area Georgetown McDonough alumni participated in a thought-provoking discussion of "Capital Formation and Job Creation," February 22 at The Princeton Club. The panel discussion was hosted by Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business Office of External Affairs and Alumni Relations and the Georgetown Center for Financial Markets and Policy.

Georgetown Entrepreneurship Day Recap

More than 200 students, alumni, faculty, and staff attended Entrepreneurship Day, which featured a keynote address by Larry Robertson on "Taking the Entrepreneurial Leap," panel discussions and a Rocket Pitch competition. Read a recap of the day and watch videos.

Hilltop Case Competition Draws Schools from Across the Globe

Earlier this month, Georgetown McDonough hosted the 8th Annual McDonough-Hilltop Business Strategy Challenge. Twenty undergraduate teams from around the world came to Georgetown to compete, including students from Shantau University in China.

Executive Master's in Leadership Students Present Master's Papers

On Saturday, February 18, selected students in the Executive Master's in Leadership (EML) program showcased their capacity for leading their organizations by examining female leadership, employee engagement, and corporate social responsibility in the 2011-12 Master's Paper Showcase.
