On the night of Sept. 27, more than 300 Georgetown students, alumni, and their guests packed the Sphinx Club in downtown Washington, D.C. The occasion was the first annual Georgetown McDonough Fight Night, which showcased six fights between members of Georgetown’s student boxing clubs to raise over $5,600 for International Justice Mission, an organization that helps protect the poor from violence in 20 communities throughout the developing world. |
