Georgetown Professors Design and Teach Leadership with Four U.S. Presidential Centers

Two Georgetown McDonough professors, Paul Almeida and Michael O’Leary, will collaborate with four presidential centers to design and facilitate the curriculum for the Presidential Leadership Scholars program, a leadership development program that was announced by President Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush at the Newseum earlier this month.

1776 and Georgetown University Announce Partnership Aggarwal Invited to Join Global Council on the Future of Financing and Capital Experts and Industry Leaders Gathered at Financial Markets Quality Conference

1776, a startup incubator and venture fund in downtown Washington, D.C., and Georgetown University announced that they will partner to provide students with educational opportunities for direct engagement with D.C.’s unique entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Robert E. McDonough Professor of Finance Reena Aggarwal has been invited to become a member of the Global Agenda Council on the Future of Financing and Capital for the 2014-16 term.

Nearly 150 people from across the financial sector converged at Georgetown’s Financial Markets Quality Conference on Tuesday, Sept. 19, to discuss the current state of the financial markets and to hear from experts in the field on regulatory issues, research, and best practices.
