Undergraduate Students Assist Student Entrepreneurs in Nicaragua MBA Students Explore Business Topics Through Intensive Learning Experiences Global Executive MBA Students Earn Diplomas

For five weeks Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business undergraduate students Matthew Murphy, Ari Newsome, and Sonya Patel travelled throughout Nicaragua to work with student entrepreneurs enrolled in Fabretto’s Sistema de Aprenizaje Tutorial (Tutorial Learning System) program.

This summer, Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business offered seven Intensive Learning Experiences for Evening MBA students. These courses, which cover topics beyond the school’s core curriculum and other electives, are offered in short time periods.

Forty-two students from 14 countries marked the end of their 14-month journey in the Georgetown-ESADE Global Executive MBA program on Saturday, July 26.

Budding Entrepreneurs Share Business Ideas at 1776 Undergraduate Business Program Earns Accolades Career Shocks Influence Millenials' Decision to Attend Grad School
An enterprising and driven group of Georgetown University students and alumni shared their business ideas at 1776 on Wednesday, July 30, as part of the school's summer Startup Program. In a recent Poets & Quants ranking of the top 100 business programs in the United States, the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business Undergraduate Program placed No. 11.

The Georgetown Energy and Cleantech Club and the Emerging Markets Network will co-host a career day on Friday, October 3
The event will provide Georgetown graduate students with a forum to learn about current trends in energy and emerging/frontier markets, as well as career opportunities in these markets. This daylong event will feature a series of interactive sessions with students, alumni, and industry professionals, as well as networking opportunities.

We are seeking Georgetown alumni with experience in the energy sector and/or emerging markets to serve as panelists. Select panels will focus solely on the energy sector or emerging/frontier market issues, and other panels will overlap.
