Shortly before midterms commenced, The Compass Fellowship student organization spent a weekend volunteering at D.C. Central Kitchen to help prepare meals for the homeless. The Compass Fellowship mentors and fellows prepared more than 5,000 meals.

The first cohort of Georgetown McDonough’s Master of Science in Finance (MSF) online students were on campus April 11-16 for their onsite residency program. Many of the students met fellow classmates and faculty in person for the first time. For others, this was their inaugural visit to the campus.

Georgetown’s Institute for Consumer Research (GICR), sponsored by KPMG and housed in the McDonough School of Business, hosted a Research Showcase on April 25. The event included 16 faculty, research associates, and students presenting their research in “blitz” sessions over the course of an hour, followed by nine GICR fellows displaying their research findings during a poster session.
